Mount Marami, or Mataas na Gulod Boulders, is a dormant volcano in Cavite province on the island of Luzon, Philippines. The mountain rises to an elevation of 405 m above mean sea level and is one of the ancient volcanic features of Bataan Arc.

It’s quite a difficult hike coz its rainy season and it takes 6 hours to reach the summit. Muddy traverse, crossing 6 rivers and breathtaking views are on our way. MARAMI tagalog word means many. Many things to encounter, many slides in muddy way and many pictures to take along our way.

Our team meet up at Heritage at around 3:30am, we take a van from Heritage and arrived in Naic at around 4:30am. Because it’s too early, as per the residents of Naic, buses and Jeepneys trips from Naic to Brgy Ramirez starts at 8am, so we have no choice but to take tricycles and has a fare of P100.00 per person.

It’s quite a long trip, we arrived at Brgy Ramirez at around 5:30am and proceeded to Brgy hall for registration, Registration Fee is P20.00. Tour guide fee is P500.00 for a group of 5.

We started our trek at around 6:00am, it was a long walk to reach the 1st station, and we reach the 1st station at around 8:15am. We cross 6 rivers before reaching the summit at around 12:00am. So we prefer you to wear hiking sandals if you don’t want to cross your shoes in the river.

The summit has a breathtaking view that you will surely love. We take unlimited pictures on the top. Also we take our lunch too in the summit. We started to descend at 2:00pm and it takes 4 hours to reach at the camp site. We’re tired and feel pain on or legs and tight but still we’re happy 'coz it was a memorable hike we have. It’s our first time to walk 6 hours to reach the summit, first time to ride on the horse and first time to slide along our way.
