Mt. Tagapo

Summit feels like!!!!

Mount Tagapo, also known as Susong Dalaga mountain, is a conical peak on the lake island of Talim on Laguna de Bay, the largest lake in the Philippines. The mountain ridge is 438 m in elevation and the highest point of Talim Island.

We, my travel buddies meet up at Shaw Blvd. Manila, Philippines at 4:00am. We ride in a UV (P50.00) to Binangonan, Rizal and it takes one hour before we reach the port (travel hours depends on the traffic). As we arrive in Binangonan Port, We ride in a Bangka (P30.00) and it takes an hour also because they have several stop overs.

As we arrived in Talim Island we are welcomed by the tour guides and they lead as to their Registration area. Tour guide fee is P400.00.

At 7am we started our adventure. At first, It was flat, but rocky road. Until we reach the 1/4 of the Mt. Tagapo. The weather was good that is why we walked that fast and thanks for the fresh and cold air also which help us feel better and alive.

As we keep walking, the view we saw became more beautiful , more excited and experienced more fun! We don't even feel so much tired because we have talkative companions and crazy ones.

We reach our destination at around 10 am, as usual we take selfie and enjoy the view of the mountain as well as the lake which surrounded us.

It feels good to be in the top of the summit! We really enjoy and love the place we even have picnic in the camp site.

At around 3 pm we leave the Island. It was the best day ever because it was my first time to hike, and it feels good, you even forgot your problems for a moment.
